Meet the Pugs of Rocky Acres!

Anyone who has ever had a Pug knows that you do not own them....they own you!  They are big dogs in little packages and will not ever let you forget it!  Here are a few pics of Chloe Gail and Dexter Wayne.  Enjoy!

This is Chloe Gail.  She is a spoiled Princess through and through.  She has her own way of doing things around here and will not let us forget it!  She has been an only Pug for the past 3 years till a baby brother showed up a few weeks ago and she wishs she was an only Pug once again...(see below for her reasoning on this....)

This is Dexter Wayne and he is the newest addition.  Big sis Chloe wishs we would put him back on whatever bus he came in on and ship him back to where he came from!  Bundle of energy does not even come close to describing him and he lives to torment his big sister.   Don't let that innocent face fool you because he is a thinker and I guarantee you he was plotting something even as this picture was taken!!!  ;o)

Chloe LOVES her necklace!

Innocent little Dex.....

Before Dexter moved in, Chloe's best bud was Cinnamon the bunny.  They both looked forward to their playtime!  Cini is now at home with other bunnies and expecting her first babies.

Dex all decked out in his first puppy hoodie.  Needless to say....it didn't fit for very long before he outgrew it.

Chloe when she was just a few months old.  She already had daddy wrapped around her little paw.

Dexter Wayne the day we brought him home.   Pacifiers are for Pugs too!  ;o)

The verdict on whether she would keep him or not was still out at this point.   He kinda looked and smelled like she did but she wasn't expecting to have to work puppy patrol at this point......

Gwamma and the Little Man in the vet's office waiting for his puppy shots.

Even though he torments her at every opportunity, the little man really does love his big sissy.  She thinks she'll keep him after all.  ;o)

This page is dedicated to Miss Puggy and Rocky Wayne who taught us everything we know about Pugs.  They are both deeply missed and will always be a part of our family.

Miss Puggy lived to be just shy of 16 years old!  We got her when she was 10 weeks old.  She was on the scene when Rocky Acres Ranch was first established and was the first Pug to ever own us and our hearts.

We lost Rocky Wayne during neuter surgery.  He was taken way too soon and is deeply missed.   He was a sweetheart!

We hope you have enjoyed meeting Princess and the Little Man.  Be sure to check back and we will update the pictures and keep you informed of their progress.
